The thermal insulation effect of airgel felt is 2-5 times that of traditional thermal insulation materials. According to the Arrhenius experiment, the theoretical service life of high-temperature pipelines is close to 20 years.

 

Airgel felt achieves the same insulation effect and is only a fraction of the thickness of traditional materials. After insulation, heat loss is small and space utilization is high. And at high temperatures, the above performance advantages are more obvious.

 

Airgel felt is relatively hydrophobic and can effectively prevent moisture from entering pipes and equipment. At the same time, it has Class B1 to Class A fire resistance, and the unique three-dimensional network structure of aerogel avoids the obvious decrease in thermal insulation effect of other insulation materials such as sintering deformation and settlement during long-term high-temperature use.

 

Airgel felt is lightweight, easy to cut and sew to suit various shapes of pipes and equipment for insulation, and installation requires less time and manpower.

 

The smaller package volume and lighter weight can significantly reduce the transportation cost of insulation materials.
