The Introduction of Calcium Silicate Board

Calcium silicate board, as a new type of green building material, besides the function of traditional gypsum board, has the advantages of superior fireproof performance, moisture resistance and long service life. It is widely used in ceiling and partition of industrial and commercial engineering buildings, household decoration, furniture lining, billboard lining, warehouse shed board, network floor and tunnel indoor wallboard.
Calcium silicate board is a kind of board made of inorganic mineral fibers or cellulose fibers as reinforcing materials and siliceous-calcareous materials as main cementing materials. It is prepared by pulping, forming and accelerating curing reaction in high temperature and high pressure saturated steam to form calcium silicate cementitious body. It is a new type of building and industrial plate with excellent performance. Its products are fire-proof, moisture-proof, sound-proof, insect-proof and durable. It is an ideal decorative plate for ceiling and partition.
Calcium silicate board is a new kind of inorganic building material, which is made of silica material (mainly composed of SiO 2, such as quartz powder, fly ash, diatomite, etc.), calcareous material (mainly composed of CaO, such as lime, calcium carbide mud, cement, etc.), reinforcing fibre material, additives, etc. in a certain proportion, and is copied or molded, autoclaved and cured. Because of its high strength, light weight, good processability and non-flammability, it is widely used in ship bulkheads, ceiling and building non-load-bearing walls, as well as other places with fire protection requirements. Calcium silicate board is divided into calcium silicate board for insulation and calcium silicate board for decoration.
Calcium silicate board for thermal insulation is called microporous calcium silicate. It is a new type of white and hard thermal insulation material. It has the characteristics of light bulk density, high strength, low thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, cutting ability and sawing ability. Widely used in electric power, metallurgy, petrochemical, construction, ship and other fields of equipment, pipelines, wall roof insulation and fire and sound insulation. The thickness is usually over 30 mm and the density is 200-1000kg/m3.
Calcium silicate board for decoration, invented by OCFG Company of the United States, is a new type of building board with comprehensive performance. It has been widely used and developed in developed countries since 1970s. Europe, America, Japan, Australia and Taiwan are the most common countries and regions to use calcium silicate board. Our country developed it successfully in the early 1980s, entered the development stage in the mid-1980s, and got extensive application in the late 1990s. The thickness is 4-20 mm and the length and width are 1220*2440 mm. At the same time, the decorative calcium silicate ceiling made of large size calcium silicate board is widely used for ceiling because of its advantages of fire protection and anti-subsidence.
