    Ramadan Wishes From Rosewool
    Posted by:    Date:27.Mar.2023
Ramadan is of great significance to Muslims, and the meaning of Eid al-Fitr is equivalent to the Spring Festival of Han people. Ramadan in 2023 will start on about March 23, and it will be a month, and Eid al-Fitr will usher in about April 21.

    What is Ramadan?

Simply put, Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. For Muslims, Ramadan is the most auspicious and noble month of the year. According to religious regulations, Muslims perform their fasting homework, one of the five mandates, during this month.

As you can see, the month of Ramadan is advancing every year compared to previous years. This is because the calculation methods of the Islamic calendar and the Gregorian calendar are different. Many people in Dubai once thought that Ramadan would only happen in summer. In fact, Ramadan may happen in any season. Dubai people are also expected to usher in Ramadan in the most comfortable winter, but it will take time.

There is a requirement of "fasting" in Ramadan. Many non-Muslims in Dubai are most impressed by this, and friends who don't know it often misunderstand this and cause tension. First of all, the view of "fasting in Ramadan" is not entirely correct. In the UAE, which is known for its tolerance, the correct understanding is-"During Ramadan, eating and drinking in public is not allowed before breaking the fast." The time of breaking the fast is slightly different every day, around 6-7 o'clock every evening. Devout Muslims will really do not eat anything or drink water before breaking the fast, and there is no fasting requirement for non-Muslims during Ramadan, and not eating or drinking in public is a respect for local customs.

In the new regulations of Ramadan in 2021, both Abu Dhabi and Dubai have made more relaxed and open measures for Ramadan dining. Restaurants are allowed to serve food openly during Ramadan without the need for barriers. Non-Muslims can eat more freely during Ramadan this year.

Rosewool wishes you a generous and auspicious Ramadan!
